Architects welcomed to Parliament House

Celebrating Queensland architects at Parliament House has long been a dream of ours.

So imagine our delight when, in late August, Deputy Premier Hon Jackie Trad MP agreed to host an event to welcome Alice-Anne McRobbie to her new role as Queensland State Manager of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA).

To celebrate Alice-Anne’s appointment, we curated a guest list of influential Queenslanders — among them the AIA’s Queensland President, Paul Trotter.

Parliament House proved to be the perfect venue to discuss how Governments and architects can work together to fortify the state’s future.

We look forward to continuing our work with the Australian Institute of Architects as together we champion the vital role architects play in our nation’s social, economic and cultural success.

Thank you to all who attended the event.
