In March this year, ORO Editions’ publisher, Gordon Goff — one of the world’s most prolific and acclaimed architecture and design publishers — visited Australia for the first time.
Lindy Johnson invited Gordon to Australia to meet with leading architects in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, and to speak at a seminar on publishing hosted by the Australian Institute of Architects (Queensland Chapter).
“Considering all the great work that has come out of Australia, all the talent they have grown, this is a long overdue trip for me,” said Goff, Publisher of ORO Editions and its imprints Goff Books and Applied Research and Design. “When in Singapore last year at the World Architecture Festival, the top awards were going to Australian architects again and again. I don’t see that changing anytime soon. It’s about time the world really sees the quality of architecture and landscape design that is coming out of Australia.”
Australian Institute of Architects, Queensland Chapter President, Shane Thompson said “This is a great opportunity for Australian architects to gain increased exposure in the international marketplace by collaborating with such a well-known specialist architecture and design publisher.”
